Who we are

What we provide

A web and mobile service for recording, transcribing, organising and printing personal life stories. We provide the prompts, the recording, the transcription, the storage, the sharing tools, and the printed book at the end of your subscription year.

What’s yours

Everything you record, write, and upload. You own your stories, full stop. We hold them for you, we render them as a book, but we never own them. You can export everything (audio + PDF) at any time, and you keep what you export, forever.

What’s ours

The prompt text, the editorial design of the book, the brand mark, and the software that runs the service. You’re welcome to take screenshots of your own pages for any purpose, including marketing your own book. Don’t reproduce the prompts elsewhere as your own work.

Payments & cancellations

One annual subscription per storyteller, billed at the start of each year. We don’t auto-renew — we email you a month before, you decide. If you cancel mid-year, your stories stay in your library for 90 days and the book composed-so-far remains exportable. No refunds, unless something’s broken on our side — in which case, fix it and refund pro-rata is our default.

Endings

If we stop offering this service — unlikely, but possible — we will give 120 days’ notice and provide every storyteller a one-click full export of audio + PDF before shutdown. Your data does not become an asset for someone to acquire.

Governing law

English law. Disputes settled by English courts. If you’re in the EU, your local consumer rights still apply.
