Who we are

What we provide

A web service for recording, transcribing, organising and sharing personal life stories. We provide the prompts, the recording, the transcription, the storage, the family sharing tools, and a typeset PDF of the year you can download from your profile.

What’s yours

Everything you record, write, and upload. You own your stories, full stop. We hold them for you and we render them as a downloadable PDF, but we never own them. You can download the typeset book from your profile at any time. To close the account itself, write to us.

What’s ours

The prompt text, the editorial design of the book, the brand mark, and the software that runs the service. You’re welcome to take screenshots of your own pages for any purpose, including marketing your own book. Don’t reproduce the prompts elsewhere as your own work.

Payments & cancellations

WisdomWeave is free to use while we are in early access — anyone can still sign up and record. You can also gift a year: Stripe takes the payment, we email the person you named, and they open an account of their own. A gift does not take away access to what anyone has already recorded. Refunds: write to hello@wisdomweave.app within fourteen days of payment if they have not yet claimed the gift.

Endings

If we stop offering this service — unlikely, but possible — we will give 120 days’ notice and provide every storyteller a one-click full export of audio + PDF before shutdown. Your data does not become an asset for someone to acquire.

Governing law

English law. Disputes settled by English courts. If you’re in the EU, your local consumer rights still apply.
